1. Our Pressure Washer that gives me the opportunity to accomplish a "To Do" that doesn't involve folding laundry (well except that the kids get their clothes wet and that adds to my laundry pile!) The front entry sidewalk looks phenomenally better and the driveway looks much better than it did.

2. Siblings that love each other . . . and show it sometimes.

3. A's inclusion on the Quiz Bowl team - he is SO excited to be starting the use of buzzers today to ring in when he knows the answer.
4. Jeff is home so much more now. I was irritated earlier today when I knocked over one of his five million nearly empty soda (not "pop" - we didn't live in Michigan THAT long!) cans that he leaves all over the darn house, but Barb's post that Bill has shipped out again reminded me to be thankful that we are together.
5. C's first "real" haircut (by her cheap mother who refuses to pay for a child's (or husband's, for that matter) hair to be cut) didn't turn out any worse! I can even still do pigtails I discovered briefly this morning before she yanked them back out.

6. Mowing the lawn - it's sure not as enjoyable as it was back in my riding mower days, but it IS a lot easier than J's scissors method.

7. That T knows that I love him unconditionally and that he feels safe getting angry with me and knowing that it won't change my love; I'm also thankful for my good genes that provided me a good sense of humor to look at these things and laugh instead of going ballistic!

8. That my kindergartner is such a good phonetic speller
. . . although we did have a discussion regarding "cretin" from Monsters, Inc. as it applies to the spelling of "dumb." I also enjoyed his enthusiastic use of exclamation points.
9. C's nap time that gives me one-to-one time with J. He's sitting here waiting for me to finish the last of this!
10. Feeling God moving in our housing situation - still not sure what will come of it, but I think we may have found "the one" that God has had us wait for. If our home in MI had already sold, we would have already made a hasty (WRONG) decision about where to live. This has all been such a reminder that God's timing is THE right timing regardless of my personal timetables!
